Victoria Yang is an associate at Theall Group LLP and maintains a broad commercial litigation practice. She was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2017 after having completed her articles at a prominent Ontario law firm. During her articles, Victoria worked on diverse commercial litigation disputes including those involving construction law, employment law, creditors’ rights, commercial leasing and insurance law matters.
Victoria graduated from McGill University, where she was on the Dean’s Honour Roll. As a law student, Victoria worked as a faculty research assistant at law school and as a caseworker at community legal clinics Downtown Legal Services and Advocates for Injured Workers. She was actively involved in the law school community, serving as an executive of the Asian Law Society. Victoria has also volunteered with the Tax Advocacy Project, Wills Project, and Medico-Legal Services Toronto Advocacy Project through Pro Bono Students Canada.
Victoria is conversant in Mandarin and the Shanghainese dialect.
