Bio
Nabil Mahmood is an associate at Theall Group LLP and is developing a broad commercial litigation and insurance coverage practice.
Prior to joining Theall Group LLP, Nabil was an associate at a leading litigation boutique in downtown Toronto where he gained experience regularly appearing before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, including on two trials and on the Commercial List. Nabil has also appeared before the Court of Appeal for Ontario and assisted with matters before the Federal Court and Supreme Court of Canada.
Nabil graduated from Western Law where he was a Senior Editor for the Canada-United States Law Journal. As a law student, Nabil completed a legal internship with the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative in Chicago, Illinois where he worked on transnational water resources issues and not-for-profit regulatory compliance. Nabil was also a caseworker with the Elgin-Oxford Legal Clinic and represented vulnerable residents of Southwestern Ontario before the Social Benefits Tribunal and the Landlord and Tenant Board.

Nabil authored the article entitled ‘When Cryptocurrencies and Insurance Policies Collide: The D&O Securities Exclusion in the Blockchain Age‘ which was published in the Ontario Bar Association’s Insurance Law section.
